Natural Korean for everyday life

I've been doing the free conversation classes with Tina for 8 months now and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Korean! When I started, I had already been studying Korean for a while but had almost no experience actually speaking the language. These classes have helped me gain confidence and improve my ability to express myself in Korean. The conversations are fun and low-pressure, and Tina is great at speaking at a level I can understand while explaining any vocab or grammar that I am unfamiliar with. She also prepares materials reviewing the new topics we discussed after each lesson. Looking forward to my next class! 😊

I want to say how genuinely grateful I am for these lessons. I started as a complete beginner with zero Korean, and thanks to Tina, I'm really progressing. In fewer than 20 lessons, I'm already able to hold basic small talk about what I've done and what I'm planning to do — something I honestly didn't expect to reach this quickly. Her lessons are varied and genuinely fun, never repetitive, and she clearly puts a lot of thought into how she teaches. On top of that, her materials are amazing — clear, well-organized, and often beautifully designed, cute and aesthetic in a way that makes studying even more enjoyable. I booked several lessons with Tina as a supplement to my normal tutoring and group classes as a ramp up to going back to Korea, and I am very glad I did. Initially, my goal was to just have more speaking practice, but Tina’s teaching style and her expertise really blew me away. I came out of these lessons with a lot more pointed insights than I had thought possible, and I had noticeable improvement after having worked with her. Moreover, even though she knew this would be a short term arrangement her preparation and follow-ups between and after our classes was above and beyond what I've seen most tutors do. I'm very glad I chose her, and absolutely recommend anyone trying to choose a tutor book a lesson with her!

Tina is the best tutor I've ever had. She is very patient, friendly, and explains things clearly. After more than 15 lessons, I must say i'm very impressed with Tina's style of teaching. It's really fun and engaging. Tina's been patient and friendly making the lessons fun and smooth. It was so much fun today. I had so much fun sharing and speaking in Korean on different topics and I can't emphasize enough how comfortable it is to speak to Teacher Tina in class. She does not give me any pressure and talking to her every time in class always gives me so much joy. On top of that, we also had lesson proper and I love her teaching style because she really made the effort to stop and explain if I have any questions or if I am unsure of something. Tina 쌤 is the absolute best! She sets great homework every time, and I enjoy doing the work because I learn so many new things while doing it. It then provides the basis for the following lesson, where she not only corrects my work, but we also discuss the topics in greater depth and exchange our opinions on them. This ensures that I learn exactly what - and how - I want to, and that every bit of Korean I pick up is very authentic to how I will actually use it in real-life.

Classes with Tina are always fun and time flies! I want to train the speaking part and she is really good at adapting to the level and come up with different talking subject. She is also coming with relevant grammatical corrections. I can only recommend her!

Depuis plusieurs semaines, je pratique mon coréen avec Tina. Je suis ravie. Elle est toujours à l'écoute, enjouée, enthousiaste. Elle se met vraiment au niveau de l'élève, et propose toujours des devoirs en fonction de ce que nous avons découvert lors du cours. On voit vraiment qu'elle travaille de manière personnalisée. Ce qui est aussi remarquable est que Tina après chaque cours, m'envoie des fiches de vocabulaire ciblées, ainsi que des devoirs à faire. On voit bien que Tina prend cela à cœur, car c'est un travail supplémentaire qu'elle fait en dehors du cours et qui est appréciable. J'attends toujours avec impatience ces fiches. Tina est toujours de bonne humeur, avec des questions ciblées pour réutiliser le vocabulaire ou grammaire appris. Chaque cours est un plaisir.
